Lat45° Adventure Ministries is excited to announce our 8th annual fundraiser November 7th, 6:00pm at Camelot Ranch in Billings, MT.

By aligning with Lat45°, you make a direct impact in our close-knit Montana communities. Your sponsorship donation helps us improve lives by strengthening and engaging youth with compassion and purpose. Stronger kids make stronger families and stronger communities. In the last 3 years, we have reached 515 participants! The trips we offer are 100% free! From multi-day backpacking trips to day hikes and skills days, these youth will benefit from Lat45° programs and services, funded in great part by our annual fundraiser. This will not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors!

Since its inception in 2013, close to 1,000 participants have pulled on gear, laced up their boots, and hit the trails with Lat45°, with dozens of volunteers dedicating thousands of hours to guarantee that youth are challenged, supported, and encouraged in the Montana backcountry.

Financial support from passionate and committed donors like you will ensure that Lat45° continues to bring youth on backcountry adventures, bringing help, hope, and healing, helping them thrive instead of just surviving in today's world.

About Captain Johnny

Captain Johnny Savage lives in the rural southern area of Virginia Beach with his wife Samantha. They have a son and three girls who are 4th generation members of Blackwater Baptist Church.

MISSION

"To advance the Kingdom of God and fulfill the Great Commission by challenging young people physically, mentally, and spiritually in an outdoor adventure setting, while experiencing the love of God through His creation."

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant word of God. Also, that Jesus Christ came to earth, fully God and fully man, and lived a perfect life without sin. He died on the cross and was raised from the dead to be the atoning sacrifice that allows us to be forgiven of our sins past, present, and future. This was done in order to restore our relationship with God if we put our faith in Jesus and repent of our sins. Through that we have the opportunity to live in Heaven for eternity.

A recent (Dec 2021) study by the Centers for Disease Control reported that almost half of all high school students in the United States report feeling persistently sad or hopeless.

Suicide is the second-leading cause of death for those aged 10-24. “Emergency room visits for suspected suicide attempts among girls between the ages of 12 and 17 increased by 26% during summer 2020 and by 50% during winter 2020-2021, compared with the same periods in 2019, researchers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found.” (US News & World Report 6/11/21). The crazier the world gets, the more our teenagers need salvation, hope, and grit.
